JSCE is

Leading Society in Corrosion Science and Corrosion Engineering in Japan.
Established in 1974 as a Society succeeded 97th Committee of JSPS formed in 1933.
Only the Society combined with Academic and Industries for Corrosion research in Japan.
JSCE members lead the field of corrosion science and corrosion engineering in various societies as follows ;

JISI (The Iron & Steel Institute of Japan)
JIM (The Japan Institute of Metals)
JPI (The Japan Petroleum Institute)
SCEJ (The Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan)
JACC (Japan Association of Corrosion Control)
SFSJ (The Surface Finishing Society of Japan)
SMSJ (The Society of Materials and Science, Japan)
and so on.
